Beach Day Tips
- Ask us where to go. East side beaches range from black sand to lava rock and grassy parks. We will point you to the right one.
- Pack for sun and rain. Reef-safe sunscreen and a light rain layer. Hilo weather changes fast.
- Give honu space. Turtles often rest on the shore. Stay at least 10 feet away and never touch them.
- Want to get in the water? Add snorkel gear or a boogie board.
FAQs
Will they fit in my car?
Yes. The chairs fold flat and the umbrellas collapse. Most cars fit a few of each easily.
When can I pick up?
Any time during shop hours. Online booking may show 9:00 AM, but that is just a default.
Which beach should I go to?
It depends on the day. Ask our staff when you pick up and we will point you to the best spot.
What if I damage something?
We inspect everything before and after. You are responsible for damage, and replacement costs may be charged.
