Hilo Ocean Adventures is the only full-service ocean provider on Hilo’s east side. Swim school, snorkel and dive tours, fishing charters, paddling, and rentals. We are always looking for people who want to share Hilo’s ocean with our guests and keep them safe while they do it.
Positions we hire for:
Front Desk
First face guests see. Bookings, check-ins, rentals, and answering every ocean question.
Swim Instructor
Teach keiki and adults water confidence and real swim skills in our heated pool.
Ocean Guide / Deck Hand
Lead snorkel and paddle tours, crew the boats, and keep guests safe on the water.
Divemaster
Guide shore and boat dives and assist our instructors with courses.
Dive Instructor
Teach PADI courses from Discover Scuba through Rescue in Hilo’s advanced conditions.
Boat Captain
Run our tours and fishing charters out of Wailoa Harbor.
Manager
Run day-to-day operations, staff, and scheduling across the shop.
What we look for:
- Reliable, on time, and great with guests
- Comfortable in and around the ocean
- Current certifications for the role, or willing to earn them
