Leave the heavy bag at home. Rent everything you need, or just the pieces you are missing. Every piece is serviced and checked before it goes out.
Wear glasses? We have prescription masks at no extra charge. Pick up any time during shop hours with your certification card and ID.

Inspection and Damages
We inspect every piece before and after your rental. A deposit is held at pickup. You are responsible for loss or damage.
Booking online may show 9:00 AM. You can pick up any time during shop hours.

Tank Rental Policy
Certification number required.
Every diver renting a tank must add their certification number to the FareHarbor booking.
- Up to 2 tanks per person, per day.
- Up to 2 rental days.
- More than 2 tanks a day requires instructor certification, liability insurance, a student roster, a dive plan, and a valid dive site permit.
Who Can Rent Our Gear
Three things have to line up: you, your purpose, and your skill.
You: Fit and Ready Today
- Sober, no alcohol or drugs
- Healthy enough to dive: no recent surgery, able to equalize
- Upfront with us about your dive plan
- The person picking up is certified
- Valid ID and a deposit
- In good standing with no lost or damaged rentals
Your Purpose: Legal and Reef-Safe
- No spearfishing on scuba
- No collecting coral, rock, shells, or marine life
- No feeding or chasing wildlife. Turtles, dolphins, and monk seals are federally protected.
- No closed or restricted areas
- No running your own scuba course with our gear
Your Skill: Matches the Dive
- Valid certification, shown at pickup
- Certification matches the dive: depth, night, wreck, cavern
- Dived within 12 months, or we recommend a refresher. Over 2 years, a refresher is required.
- Diving solo? Self-Reliant certification and full redundancy: pony bottle, backup mask, second computer, SMB.
- Comfortable handling your own gear and the day’s conditions
Been a while? Book a Scuba Refresher before you rent.
Dive With Us and Save
Dive with a local divemaster first. We handle tanks, weights, transport, and the entry, and show you sites you would never find on your own.
Gear costs less when you dive with us.
On our guided dives and courses, a full set is just $69 a day.

Do you have prescription masks?
Yes, at no extra charge. Note it when you book so we can have one ready.
Why do you need my certification number?
We only rent tanks and life support gear to certified divers. It is a safety rule, and it keeps everyone diving with the right training.
Can I dive solo with your gear?
Only with a Self-Reliant certification and full redundancy: pony bottle, backup mask, second computer, and SMB.
When can I pick up?
Any time during shop hours. Online booking may show 9:00 AM, but that is just a default.
